Smallmouth Fishing Trip 9/19-21TFFers have arranged a group trip to Galax, Virginia to fish for Smallies in the New River the weekend of September 19 through 21. As a special feature, Jeff Wilkins, Jeffrey Wilkins Fly Fishing, will be present to provide instruction and guidance. Jeff is a great guide who loves to share his knowledge. Space to work with Jeff on Saturday morning is limited and is on a first come - first served basis. Response regarding the Saturday session has been really good, so a second session with Wilkins is being considered for 3 PM Friday afternoon. EVERYONE IS WELCOME . . . This trip is for everyone! Don’t want to work with Jeff, that’s ok. Can’t get there until Saturday, that’s ok. Want to come late and leave early, that’s ok. Don’t want to fish, that’s ok. We just want you to join us. We will convene around the campfire Friday evening at River Views Campground for some words of wisdom from Jeff Wilkins. Fishing is available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. TFF will provide dinner on Saturday evening at the campground. For those that do not want to camp, motels and restaurants are available in Galax (about 5 miles from the campground).
